Established in 2020, ImagineIF is a non-profit organisation the enables the collection, processing and sale of post-consumer recyclables in the greater uMngeni and Msunduzi Municipalities, as well as few smaller communities such as uMshwati, Impendle and eThekwini.

In an innovative world, ImagineIF has taken its place, developing low market value items such as glass and flexible packaging into projects such as Potholes, Pavers and Plastic wood.

Born out of the dream that people can live in a better, more sustainable place, where everyone is able to provide for themselves, ImagineIf provides work opportunities and hope to many, whilst educating and serving communities.

Since 2020, ImagineIf has collected over 2 065 030 kgs of recycling, including paper-based waste, plastic-based waste, metal-based waste and glass. In 2023 alone, IMAGINEIF collected 940 055 kgs of recyclable waste, an average of 78 338 kgs per month.
